Colors that have jobs
Pretty swatches are not enough to ship a page. Buttons need a primary and a hover. Body copy needs text that stays readable on the background. Cards need a surface and a border. This generator maps one seed color onto those roles instead of leaving you to guess.
Light and dark themes keep the same hue family. Neutrals are tinted with the seed so the page does not look like generic gray Tailwind.
Start from a style, not a color-theory lecture
Cafe, restaurant, wellness, and real estate presets stay in a calm neighboring-hue family. Restaurant and professional presets put a stronger accent on the call-to-action. Barbershop stays on one hue and varies lightness, which is how gold-and-charcoal still feels branded.
Pick a preset to load a starting color and light or dark look. Change the hex afterward if you already have a brand color.
Readable contrast, built in
A palette that fails contrast will get rebuilt in the editor or ignored by clients. The generator keeps body text, muted text, and button labels readable. AA is 4.5:1 for body text. Large type and UI can pass at 3:1. AAA is 7:1.
Body text is pushed toward AAA against the background so paragraphs stay readable. Button labels pick white or near-black automatically.
CSS, Tailwind, and a prompt that the builder can follow
CSS variables work in any stack. The Tailwind export is an `@theme` block for Tailwind v4. JSON is for tokens. The prompt is the useful one if you generate the site in Bunstation: it lists each role and tells the model not to invent extra accents.

Each preset (Cafe, Restaurant, Barbershop, and the rest) loads a starting color and a light or dark look that fits that kind of site. You can still change the hex or switch Light and Dark after you pick one.
WCAG AA needs 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large type or UI. AAA is 7:1. The generator keeps body, muted, and button labels readable automatically. If copy looks weak in the preview, change the seed or switch light and dark.
