Convert Excel to Web App
Upload a spreadsheet. Bunstation turns the columns into a dashboard with charts and a table you can edit.
How to convert Excel into a web app
- Drop an .xlsx, .xls, or .csv file into the converter, or choose it from your device.
- Add optional instructions, such as which column is revenue or which chart you want first.
- Click Generate web app, then sign in or create an account to open the new project.
- Review the dashboard, adjust the charts and table, and publish when it is ready.
A dashboard, not a pasted spreadsheet
A spreadsheet is a good place to keep records and a poor place to share them. A web app can put the totals on top, chart the trend, and let someone filter the rows without downloading a file. Bunstation builds that as a Vite project you can keep editing.
The generated app uses shadcn cards, charts, and a paged table. Summary numbers are calculated in the browser from your rows, so the charts match the sheet instead of a rewritten copy.
Large files stay out of the prompt
Sending 10,000 rows to an AI model is slow, expensive, and easy to truncate. This converter summarizes each column — type, range, and the common values — and stores the full sheet in the project. The model writes the dashboard. It does not retype the data.
If the workbook has more than one sheet, each sheet becomes its own tab. You can still change the layout after generation, or start from a document instead with PDF to Website. Every converter is listed on free tools.

Excel to web app FAQs
Everything you need to know before turning a spreadsheet into a dashboard.
Upload an .xlsx, .xls, or .csv file and add any extra instructions. Bunstation reads the columns, then generates an editable Vite dashboard with charts, summary cards, and a table.
Yes. The dashboard loads the full sheet in the browser. The AI only sees the column types, totals, and a few sample rows, so a large file does not have to fit in the prompt.
Yes. When you click Generate web app, you will be asked to sign in or create an account. You then land in a new Vite project, where Bunstation builds the dashboard.
Low quality uses the free model. High quality uses Grok 4.7 and is available when the account has an active subscription or paid credits.
Bunstation keeps the upload for about two hours so it can create the project. The rows are saved inside that project as a data file the dashboard loads. They are not pasted into the AI prompt, and the original file is not published by itself.
You can upload a file up to 12 MB, with up to 8 sheets and 20,000 rows. Wider sheets keep the first 40 columns. The first row should be the column names.
